about
Tessa Case is a writer and bookseller in Birmingham, AL, where she lives with her cat, Coraline.
The first book report she ever remembers writing was about a fantasy title by Stephen King that her father thought was appropriate for a second grader. She fell asleep at night to the original Grimm’s fairytales, the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe or a children’s book entitled The Spider and the Fly. It is, therefore, no wonder that she lives with a deep sense of the macabre and existential, as well as a tendency to take nothing and everything much too seriously.
When she’s not at her writing desk, she’s out taking walks in the creepiest part of the forest, reading whatever she can get her hands on, spending quality time with the aforementioned Coraline, sometimes traveling, sometimes doing yoga, but most often wondering why she isn’t at her writing desk.
